The College of Medicine will, this year, conduct a special series of virtual COVID-19 conferences which will be aimed at discussing and reflecting on addressing the COVID-19 pandemic. The first series of the conference will be held on Thursday 22nd October to Friday 23rd October 2020 under the theme; “A Multidisciplinary Response to COVID-19 Pandemic”. Unlike the previous years where participants would converge at COM for the conferences, this year’s conference will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will also provide researchers and professionals a platform for disseminating their findings, exchanging contemporary knowledge and building partnerships and collaborations. The conference will also have researchers sharing findings from research studies on COVID-19 with a view to keeping the public, researchers and policy makers informed of current research activities relevant to human health in the country.
